How are we so “different”?
If “different” is just a thing.
If we all have certain features,
What does “different” bring?
People filled with hatred,
Can’t possibly see,
That there’s not really “differences”
Between you and me.
Looks can’t show “difference”,
If they’re just there to be seen.
If you don’t look like someone else,
Why are they so mean?
If being “different” is what is wrong,
I’d rather not be right.
And I’d want to finish living,
Doing the “different” fight.
This poem is specially dedicated to myself and for anybody else who are looked down due to their differences. living with less perfection points are not too bad i tell you. do not simply hate yourself or come down hard on yourself just because you’re different, you got less luck at certain points. let it be. coz there we learn how life works.
They say we are different. they say we are good at faking smile, we are excellent at hiding tears. we are being hypocrete..yes dude. say anything cuz we have our own paths to walk on. yess, i am different myself and if being different is a crime well i just bring it on. ‘difference’ is just a thing and definitely there’s no one would be the same to one another.
How different i am, how fake my smile is, i know i am doing right, strongly building up to professionalism. no matter how deep the wound is, it wont be a matter coz the only thing i seek for is atleast a little piece of peace.. that’s why i am being different. and i am proud being so.. who cares then?? be it! ;) ;)
